When a young rock group called The Mystery gets its first gig at a club, it's an opportunity to see what life is all about! Fresh out of high school, the rockers are hired by an exclusive beach resort thanks to a faded '60s songwriter. There, they meet with romance and adventure. But street-smart lead singer Jennie Lee faces a dilemma: pursue her budding career or finish high school.

nudity Some kissing scenes throughout. One scene includes a woman and man at a party they go into a private room. The man gets on top of the woman and begins to kiss her, she repeatedly tells him to stop before hitting him on the head with a wooden duck to stop him. A woman sits at a kitchen table while a man searches for her earrings. It is implied that they just had sex as he finds her earrings in the bedroom. The main character is seen wearing only a button down shirt and panties. In two seperate scenes two people enter a van and it is implied that they are having sex (you hear sexual noises such as moaning and the van rocking) however nothing is shown.
violence A guy pulls a switch blade knife on two girls then rams their van and pushes it into a lake. (The girls are not inside the van when this happens). A fight breaks out at a bar with several people involved nothing bloody.
profanity Minor swear words are used. One or two uses of the "F" word. The word Slut is used.
alcohol Smoking and drinking throughout. One of the characters is a drug addict. At one point she overdoses and her friends try to get her to wake up. This could be disturbing for some viewers. This same character is seen smoking pot and taking pills throughout the movie. Drug use and abuse is discussed between the characters.
frightening When the group is trying to get the drug induced girl to wake up, it's a little intense nothing to serious.
